OHIO COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

Between 1:24 a.m. Friday and 10:25 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to 26 traffic stops, five motorist assists, three vehicle accidents and one miscellaneous call.

At 1:24 a.m., Fowler Road, loud subjects.

At 5:59 a.m., Orrs Lane, trespassing.

At 11:07 a.m., Dallas Pike Road, mutual aid.

At 11:22 a.m., McCutcheon Road, destroy animal.

At 1:03 a.m., Interstate 70, vehicle fire.

At 2:29 p.m., Stewart Lane, welfare check.

At 2:48 p.m., Short Creek Road, threat.

At 3:28 p.m., Cabela Drive, K-9 training.

At 5:49 p.m., Stewart Lane, assault and battery.

At 6:31 p.m., W.Va. 2, erratic driver.

At 6:08 p.m., Fort Henry Road, animal control.

At 7 p.m., Kiger Road, breaking and entering earlier.

At 7:05 p.m., Romine Addition, erratic driver.

At 7:33 p.m., Stone Church Road, structure fire.

At 8:38 p.m., Waddington Drive, met complainant.

BELMONT COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE

At 10:27 a.m. Friday, a deputy responded to Burwood Drive, St. Clairsville, after a female reported she was drugged last night in Pittsburgh. Her pupils were dilated, and she was having difficulty breathing. An emergency squad from the Cumberland Trail Fire Department was dispatched. A deputy on the scene advised this was mostly anxiety, according to the report.

At 6:58 a.m. Friday, a 911 hang-up call was received from a residence on Morristown Street, Flushing, and an elderly woman could be heard in the background yelling “chicken.” A deputy responded and advised everything was OK.
