Trump In Wheeling: Speech Concludes at WesBanco Arena

At 8:43 p.m., Trump concludes remarks at WesBanco Arena with the words, “Thank you, West Virginia, thank you.”

At 8:41 p.m., Trump: “The revolution that you began in 2016 … it’s far from over. It’s only just beginning.”

At 8:38 p.m., Trump: “Now you have a president who is standing up for your values, who is standing up for West Virginia.”

At 8:29 p.m., Wheeling police announced they are closing the motorcade route, signaling that Trump’s speech is coming to a close.

At 8:25 p.m., Trump: “We’ve got to keep it going the way it’s been going. Do we agree? Get Patrick in there.”

At 8:21 p.m., Trump: “I came in, and now (the U.S. and North Korea) have this great relationship. And let’s see what happens.”

At 8:19 p.m., Trump: “We’re doing great with North Korea.”

At 8:14 p.m., Trump: “We’ve lifted almost 4 million Americans off of food stamps.”

At 8:13 p.m., Trump: “This election is about security, and it’s about prosperity.”

At 7 p.m., reporters on scene have been told the President will take the stage in about 30 minutes.

At 6:48 p.m., President Donald Trump’s motorcade has arrived at WesBanco Arena.

At 6:28 p.m., the President is en route from the airport to WesBanco Arena.

At 6:13 p.m., Air Force One has touched down at the Wheeling-Ohio County Airport with President Donald Trump on board.

Meanwhile, West Virginia Sen. Ryan Ferns, R-Ohio, led the Pledge of Allegiance at WesBanco Arena to a crowd awaiting the President’s arrival. Gov. Jim Justice then spoke to the crowd before introducing Lou Holtz, legendary Notre Dame football coach originally of Follansbee and East Liverpool. Holtz then briefly addressed the crowd, too.
