A Wheeling man was killed late Saturday in an ATV accident in Marshall County.
Scott Pack, 49, was riding an ATV with a passenger around 10 p.m. Saturday in the area of Stull's Run, near U.S. 250, according to Marshall County Chief Deputy Bill Helms. Helms said someone in the area watched Pack fail to navigate a turn, and when emergency crews responded, Pack's body was found a short distance away from where the ATV had come to rest.
A female passenger, who Helms was not immediately able to identify, was hospitalized with several broken bones as a result of the accident.
Helms said the Sheriff's Office was waiting for a toxicology report, but as of Tuesday afternoon, alcohol was believed to be a factor in the crash.
