University of Michigan head coach John Beilein is reportedly taking his first top job in the NBA, as reports indicate the Wheeling Jesuit University graduate and former West Virginia University head basketball coach has been hired as head coach of the Cleveland Cavaliers.

Beilein, 66, spent five seasons coaching the Mountaineers, from 2002-07. He played at what was then Wheeling College from 1971-75, and in 2015 was inducted into Wheeling Jesuit’s Athletics Hall of Fame.

He has 754 career wins as a head coach.
