A small group of local artists joined more than a dozen other artists from several different countries, including France, Germany and Switzerland, and enjoyed a day of plein-air painting and other artwork at Wheeling's Heritage Port Tuesday. Didier Mollon, a retired family physician who resides in a small town near Leon, France, created a clay sculpture from a picture of a woman playing a guitar at the waterfront.
