WHEELING — Lines are forming outside WesBanco Arena as area residents anticipate the arrival of President Donald Trump.
Several hundred people are waiting to enter the arena for today’s private fundraiser hosted by Murray Energy CEO Robert Murray. The event gets underway at 5:15 p.m.
A large contingent of Wheeling police, West Virginia State troopers and Secret Service police are downtown now preparing for the event.
A Wheeling police officer said those working downtown who normally would exit onto Main or 16th streets should plan to leave by 4 p.m. so as not to get stuck at work.
