Paul William Blake, 98, of Triadelphia, passed away on Monday, July 18, 2016, in Peterson Rehabilitation Center.
He was born in Wheeling on June 29, 1918, a son of the late James and Marie (Scroggins) Blake.
Paul was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Served his country in Army Air Corps during WWII. Retired from Herman Strauss Inc. as a Vice President, and was a volunteer at Wheeling Hospital for many years having started in 1998.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Virginia (Branch) Blake who he married in 1948; and a brother, Capt. James Blake, USMC.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 21st, in St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, with Father Gary Naegele officiating. Cremation will follow.
