Larry N. DeGarmo, 70, of Newport News, Va., passed away on Sunday, March 4, 2018 at Riverside Regional Medical Center in Newport News, Va.
He was originally from Wellsburg, WV. He was also a proud member of the United States Navy, and retired with honors.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Patricia A. DeGarmo; his son George E. DeGarmo; his father, Charles E. DeGarmo; and sister, Darlene (DeGarmo) Sims.
Surviving are his mother, Irene DeGarmo of Wellsburg; his two daughters, Janet and Erin DeGarmo, both of Weirton WV; his sister, Judy (DeGarmo) Campbell; three brothers, Charles (Susan) DeGarmo, Allan (Mary Kathryn) DeGarmo and Edward DeGarmo, all of Wellsburg, WV; seven grandchildren; six great- children; and multiple loving nieces and nephews.
Cremation services were held by the Cremation Society of Virginia and a private memorial service will follow for family and close friends.
