JACQUELINE GARCIA
Jacqueline “Jackie” Alvarez Garcia, 83, of Shadyside, OH, formerly of Moundsville, passed away on Thursday, July 26, 2018 in Wheeling Hospital.
She was born July 13, 1935, in Moundsville, WV, the daughter of the late Jack and Mary Catherine Clark Alvarez.
Jackie was a former cook for Marshall County Schools and a clerk at Ruttenburgs where she worked for 25 years. She was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church, Moundsville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Louie A. “Frog” Garcia; one son, Joseph M. Garcia; an infant sister, Mary Jo Alvarez and one brother, Raymond Alvarez.
Survivors include one daughter, Mary (Bill) Games of Glen Dale, WV; daughter-in-law, Linda Garcia of Moundsville; four grandchildren; Amy Games of Glen Dale, AJ Games of Glen Dale, Megan Garcia of Moundsville and Lauren Garcia of Moundsville and one sister, Harriet Francis of Moundsville.
Private services and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
