Why the Secrecy?

If the State Department continues its foot-dragging over release of emails sent and received by Hillary Clinton while she was secretary of state, information detrimental to her run for president will not come out until after the election.

One more tantalizing hint of why so many of her emails have been kept under wraps came out this week. The State Department confirmed that some Clinton emails involving the 2012 attack on Americans in Benghazi, Libya have been recovered by the FBI. They were not provided voluntarily by Clinton.

Voters may well ask a question about that: Why not?
