Weir soccer standout Ashton Knuutila recently signed his letter of intent to continue his academic and athletic careers at West Liberty University. Knuutila is a four-year letterwinner for the Red Riders. This season he earned second team all-state, second team All-Valley and OVAC honorable mention as he helped lead the Red Riders the state tournament in Beckley.

“During my visit to WLU I felt that it offered me a good fit both academically and athletically,” Knuutila said. “I am looking forward to the challenges of playing at the Division II level.”
