More than 300 Appalachian Power customers now are without power Tuesday morning due to outages in Ohio County, according to Appalachian Power’s outage map.
That’s down from nearly 1,700 that were without power early Tuesday morning.
The outages now encompass an area near Oglebay Park headed toward Woodsdale and parts of GC&P Road.
This comes as many homeowners and businesses are without internet service this morning, as AT&T and other providers note widespread outages. Many areas near Wheeling are expected to have service restored later today.
