Jerry and Sally Cassandra of Wellsburg, W.Va., celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Saturday, July 18, at the Garabaldi Lodge Hall in Follansbee, W.Va., which was the very same place where they had their first date. They were united in marriage on Aug. 21, 1971, at Our Lady of Seven Dolors Church in Triadelphia, W.Va., with Father John Mercer officiating the ceremony.
