WHEELING – This summer and fall, a personal garden has the chance to produce wonderful fruits and vegetables, and nothing tastes as good as homegrown produce. She also would, on occasion, enjoy something from the hot lunch menu at the school. I never took part in the hot lunches at my Catholic high school. I know many students did. Order of Eastern Star Meeting Slated

WHEELING – Miriam Chapter No. 1, Order of the Eastern Star, will hold its regular meeting at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, May 19, at the Shrine Center, Monument Place, Elm Grove. The annual memorial service and election of officers will be held, and May birthdays will be celebrated. Members are asked to bring their choice of ramen noodles, fruit cups, pudding cups or jello cups for the backpack project. Refreshments will be served by Nancy Hostutler following the meeting.
