Marshall County Chamber of Commerce Hosts Annual Dinner

MOUNDSVILLE — The Marshall County Chamber of Commerce held its annual dinner on Thursday at Grand Vue Park, celebrating local excellence in education, business, and community service.
In partnership with Marshall County Schools, the chamber recognized Megan Pintus as Teacher of the Year and Keith Wright as Service Personnel of the Year. Both honorees were celebrated for their dedication, professionalism, and positive impact on students and the school community.
The chamber also presented the Dr. David Ealy Community Service Award to Barb Rush. This award honors individuals who demonstrate exceptional commitment to volunteerism and community involvement through participation in local organizations, clubs, and initiatives. Rush was recognized for her selfless dedication and long-standing contributions to Marshall County.
In addition, the Business of the Year – Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Truist. This award recognizes a business operating for more than ten years that has consistently demonstrated outstanding community engagement, leadership, and support through sponsorships, partnerships, and philanthropic efforts. Truist was commended for its ongoing collaboration with organizations and institutions throughout the county.
The evening concluded with an inspiring keynote address from Dr. Jaime Caridi, president of Bethany College. Caridi shared valuable insights on leadership, education, and the importance of partnership in fostering community and economic growth.
