The Marshall County Chamber of Commerce announced Thursday that WesBanco made a significant donation to the organization’s cause.

WesBanco donated $12,500 to support of the Chamber’s ongoing programs and initiatives aimed at strengthening the local business community, Chamber Executive Director Scott Reager said.

WesBanco representatives attending the presentation included Matt Drahos, Market President and Senior Commercial Banker; Amanda Brown, Senior Vice President and District Manager, Wheeling Market; Ronda Gust, Vice President and Banking Center Manager; and Katrina Bonner, Retail Sales and Support Coordinator

“WesBanco’s leadership and commitment to our community exemplify what it means to be a true partner,” Reager said. “Their investment directly benefits programs like the newer Marshall County Chamber Pitch Competition, the Ladies Luncheon, and the inaugural Energy Conference: Oil and Gas Forum, as well as long-standing events including the Health & Business Expo, Chamber Golf Scramble, Annual Dinner, Christmas Tree Gala, and Christmas Parade.”

Reager said, the chamber values its ongoing partnership with WesBanco and looks forward to continuing to collaborate on initiatives that strengthen Marshall County’s economic and community development.
