WHEELING — The Ohio County Republican Party has a new chairman who will oversee a 12-member board that currently has just five members. Michael Borsuk, a recent graduate of Marshall University, is the new chairman. He will begin graduate studies at Marshall in the fall. CHARLESTON – The federal judge presiding over a class action lawsuit challenging conditions in West Virginia's foster care system denied a request by state officials to pause the case while seeking clarification from the U.S. Supreme Court, setting a future trial date. WHEELING — Officials at Ohio County Schools say they have a strong tennis program, but not such strong tennis courts and facilities to support it. The school district hopes to do something about that in the coming months, according to Assistant Superintendent Rick Jones.
