Power Knocked Out To Hundreds In Ohio, Marshall Counties
More than 1,700 Northern Panhandle residents were left without power for a few hours Tuesday, as tree limbs in power lines sent those folks into the dark. The outages began early Tuesday morning and affected Appalachian Power customers in a narrow swath that reached from the neighborhoods around Oglebay Park Resort south into Moundsville. That included the usually busy stretch of National Road were Dunkin Donuts, 7 Brew Coffee and Tim Horton's, among others, all reside.
