The new Wheeling Police Department Headquarters on Chapline Street in Center Wheeling is expected to be fully operational by March 20. Officials hope the new, state-of-the-art police headquarters will incentivize recruitment to help the department fill 10 vacancies on the force.

WHEELING – The Wheeling Police Department will offer tours of its new facility to the public next week.

A 4 p.m. ribbon cutting ceremony is set for Wednesday, July 12 with guided tours of the building following from 5-8 p.m.

Parking is available in the WPD main lot, on 20th and 22nd Street and Lot 10.

Wheeling Police Headquarters is located at 2115 Chapline St. in Center Wheeling.
