LINDA VAN CAMP
Linda Karen Coss Van Camp, 72, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Tuesday, March 31, 2020 at her home.
She was born September 23, 1947, in Wheeling, WV, daughter of the late Russell and Norma Jean Gautschi Coss.
She was a devoted & loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother. Linda was a retired Receptionist for Oglebay Resort and a Methodist by faith. She enjoyed walking outdoors, sitting outside in the sun, reading books and magazines. Linda also loved watching the Hallmark shows especially the Christmas movies.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Ray Van Camp, Sr. in 2018; and her son, Captain David Van Camp in 2011.
Linda is survived by her three sons, Donald Ray (Samantha) Van Camp, Jr. of Red Lion, PA, Dennis J. (Michelle) Van Camp of Cincinnati, OH and Daniel (Kristine) Van Camp of Sugarloaf, PA; two brothers, Russell (Lorrie) Coss of St. Clairsville, OH and Tim Coss of Adena, OH; four sisters, Cindy (Tom) Smith of North Canton, OH, Renee Coss (Pat) of Wheeling, WV, Marcie (Jay) Johnston of Cincinnati, OH and Karrie Jo (Rob) Meinecke of Cleveland, OH; seven grandchildren, Stormy, Harrison, London, Judith, Aryss, Jasmine and Nathaniel; a sister-in-law, Judy Lund; and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to the nurses of Valley Hospice, Renee Coss and Tim Coss, for the loving care and kindness to our Mother during her time in their care.
Services were held at the convenience of family. A celebration of Linda’s life will be held at a later date. Interment in Holly Memorial Gardens.
