JACQUELINE “JACKIE” McFARLAND
Jacqueline “Jackie” McFarland, 83, of Wheeling, WV, passed away on Monday, July 14, 2025. She was born on May 3, 1942, in Wheeling, WV, to the late Elwood and Danna Winter.
She graduated from St. Joseph Academy in 1960. Upon graduating, she was recognized and awarded with a 12-year perfect attendance.
She worked for the Ohio County Sheriff’s Office as a tax deputy for 25 years. Upon her retirement, she went to work at H&R Block (Elm Terrace) as a senior tax analyst, where she just completed her 28th year.
Family and friends will be received on Thursday, July 17, 2025 from 1-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Altmeyer Funeral Home, Elm Grove Chapel, 154 Kruger Street, Wheeling. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, July 18 (Time TBD) at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church followed by interment at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
