MADELYN TURNER

She was born December 6, 1927 in Wheeling to the late James Edward Jackson & Anna Elizabeth (Eimer) Jackson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garth L Turner.

Madelyn enjoyed telling stories of her work at Stone & Thomas where she met her dear husband, the love of her life. Married 69 years, she was a devoted wife, loving mother, proud grandmother and delighted great grandmother. She enjoyed daily texting with family and friends and viewing photos of their activities with her ipad. Her most precious memories were of family gatherings. She was a lifelong member of Triadelphia United Methodist Church.

Madelyn is survived by her children, Cheryl Sayre and Jeff (Donna) Turner; her grandsons, James (Jennifer) Sayre, Daniel (Jill) Turner, Matthew (Hannah) Turner; and her great-granddaughters, Jillian Lee Sayre and Julia Faith Sayre.

Interment will be at the convenience of the family at Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements by Kepner Funeral Home, 900 National Rd. Wheeling (304-232-2732).
