Maria Alexovich, 88, of Wheeling, formerly of Cleveland, Ohio, died July 20, 2026, in Forest Hill Health and Rehabilitation Center in St. Clairsville. Maria was born August 23, 1937, and raised in Czechoslovakia then at age 16 she moved to the United States of America to be with her mother and stepfather. After high school, she worked for Progressive Insurance in the clerical department. A few years later she found her dream job with Cleveland Greyhound Station.
