She was born August 6, 1947 in Wadsworth, Ohio, a daughter of the late Halford L. and Betty J. Morris Moore. He served honorably in the Air Force and then worked for decades as a crane operator at Weirton Steel. His parents, Paul and Jean Newbrough, predeceased him.
