MARY “ANN” RUCKMAN

Mary “Ann” Ruckman of Wheeling, WV passed away Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Liza’s Place, Wheeling. She was a retired switchboard operator and secretary at C & P Telephone Company with 33 years of service, a member of the Oglebay Garden Club and a Methodist by Faith. Ann enjoyed ballroom dancing with her dance companion, Jack Fox and taught dance for free at Oglebay. She was very athletic and enjoyed softball, snow skiing, ice skating, swimming and traveling (Greece, Mexico, Turkey). She loved animals and the beach, where she had a house in Florida until 2015. David Stamm Harman, age 89, died March 16, 2023, at Liza’s Place. Friends will be received at Christ United Methodist Church, 1232 National Road, Wheeling, WV for a memorial visitation on Friday, March 24, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 PM and again on Saturday, March 25, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the time of the memorial service at 12:00 PM. Sarah A. Ebert Tolpa, age 94 of Moundsville, WV died Wednesday, March 22, 2023 in Stonerise Health Care Center, Moundsville. She was born April 22, 1928 in Bridgeport, OH the daughter of the late John and Anna Ebert. She was a former Telephone Company employee and Dental Assistant with Dr. Kline; and a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church.
