He was born at Martins Ferry, Ohio on January 25, 1929 a son of the late George and Lillian Brubach Calvert. Bill was a retired postal worker at the Woodsfield Post Office, Woodsfield, Ohio; a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and a member of St. Sylvester Catholic Church, Woodsfield, Ohio where he was also a member of the St. Francis Society and the Purgatorial Society.
