DOGE Exposing Wasteful Spending

Editor, News-Register: Can you really believe the democrats screaming about DOGE exposing and trying to stop the wasteful government spending? They say people are going to die, but refuse to explain how! The beneficial programs will not be touched. The say Musk was not elected, but neither was the EPA and other agency heads. They have cost Americans millions in compliance and cost jobs all across the country. Editor, News-Register: I am writing to express my strong opposition to House Resolution 33, which proposes renaming Spruce Knob, the highest peak in West Virginia, to “Trump Mountain.” This resolution is not only unnecessary but also a wasteful use of time and resources that does not reflect the will of the people. To my knowledge, no public vote or statewide poll has been conducted to determine whether West Virginians support such a change. The Price of Eggs

Editor, News-Register: One of the main reasons people voted for Trump was the price of groceries, specifically, eggs. Despite inflation being tamed, eggs were still a bit higher last November than before COVID. A slim majority voted Republican, for cheaper eggs. How’s that working for us? Ummm, not so good. Over 300 upset property owners gathered at Undo’s (Wednesday) to plan self-defense measures concerning the highest property tax increases in Ohio history. Editor, News-Register: I just read the front page article in the Wednesday, Jan. 29th edition of The Intelligencer titled “Potential federal aid freeze causes concern, confusion.” I read everyone’s concerns about the freeze on the federal grants and loans that the government provides to every state, county and city.
