Can Anyone Show Proof of Voter ID Fraud in W.Va.?

Editor, News-Register: In recent years states have passed or attempted to pass voter identification requirements in order to be eligible to vote. West Virginia Republicans passed this law in 2018 with about 15 acceptable forms of I.D. Tariffs Would Harm Trade Between U.S. and Canada

Editor, News-Register: As an American who frequently visits Canada, I am very concerned by the incoming Trump administration’s proposed tariffs against Canada (“Trump Threatens Sweeping New Tariffs on Mexico, Canada and China on Day 1,” November 26). Canada is our largest trading partner with which we share the longest international frontier and have a long history of friendly relations. Amendment One is a danger to every health care worker in the state of WV. Amendment One is a vote of no confidence for those dedicated caregivers who provide help and comfort to patients. Editor, News-Register: Recently, I had the distinct privilege to chat with one of Wheeling’s finest individuals, Tom “Bear” Bechtel. I was attending my two youngest granddaughters’ softball game (eight years of age and younger) at the I-470 ballfields. Tom and I have known one another for nearly 50 years and when I noticed he had stopped by to watch an inning or two, I immediately walked up to him and we started talking about softball, basketball, football and the world in general.
