Editor, News-Register: Ohio County Schools has a new toy. He’s called “Jerome the Drone.” Jerome is flying all around the county filming beautiful welcome-back-to-school videos, which make for marvelous social media content. Jerome is new and shiny. He’s part of the in-crowd and hangs with the cool kids. Jerome has an old friend who is not as popular with the educrats and only makes an appearance once a year. Working For Their Constituents

Editor, News-Register: I was wondering how many people benefited from the American Rescue Act which was signed into law on March 11, 2021. This package included the Child Tax Credit, emergency SNAP benefits, rental assistance and paycheck protection. The sad thing is that all three of the representatives from West Virginia voted against it. It is also interesting to note that they did not vote to protect our elections and our right to vote.
