Appalachian Christmas Project Was a Success

Editor, News-Register: The Appalachian Christmas Project had a very good 2025, made possible by the volunteers, churches, schools and businesses that ensured people in need throughout Appalachia were served. Based in Wheeling, the Project provides its services in association with Bethlehem Alliance Church. The group serves victims of natural disasters, seniors, the disabled, veterans, nursing homes, the homeless, victims of domestic violence, children and babies, and families who are impoverished or in at-risk areas. Democrats Turn Backs on DHS, ICE When We Need Them Most

As the debate over the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) funding bill continues, one truth is becoming increasingly clear: Democrats are refusing to stand with the very law enforcement officers tasked with protecting our communities. Here’s the problem. When it really counts — Election Day — those opinion pieces or social media posts will not move the needle. Your vote will; and primary elections are closer than you might think. According to the West Virginia ...
