ST. CLAIRSVILLE — The St. Clairsville Post 159 American Legion team started their summer season with an explosive 9-3 victory over Zanesville Post 29 on Monday, receiving a big day at the plate from DH Colby Carpenter. Carpenter hit an RBI single and a three-run home run for Post 159, while Caiden Bailey finished with a triple and two RBI at the dish. WVU Football Lands Commitment From 2027 Wide Receiver

MORGANTOWN — West Virginia football earned another commitment to start the week. Three-star wide receiver and athlete Carter Davis announced on social media that he's committed to the Mountaineers for the class of 2027. Davis is another recruit WVU and Rich Rodriguez stole from other Power Four schools. The Gulf Shores, Alabama, native picked the Mountaineers over Mississippi State, who was in hot pursuit, LSU, Tennessee, Auburn and multiple other top programs.
