MORGANTOWN — West Virginia football defensive back Jordan Scruggs and defensive lineman Eddie Kelly Jr. are exhausting options to play another year for the Mountaineers. Scruggs and Kelly took to social media to announce that they are seeking a temporary restraining order and a preliminary injunction against the NCAA to play another season. GLADE SPRINGS — After entering the final round of the 93rd West Virginia Open Championship at The Resort at Glade Springs, Follannsbee native Ryan Bilby was overtaken Friday to finish as runner-up at the three-day contest, finishing behind Bridgeport native Mason Williams. OVAC Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony Set For August 15

WHEELING – The 22nd annual OVAC Hall of Fame Induction will be held on Saturday, Aug. 15 inside WesBanco Arena. The event will begin at 4:30 p.m. with cocktails in the OVAC HoF and Sports Museum on the concourse, with dinner at 5:30 on the main event floor. Inductions will start at 6:30. Twenty-one individuals are set to take their place in OVAC history with their enshrinements.
