High School Roundup: Wheeling Central Continues Win Streak

CADIZ — The Wheeling Central Maroon Knights baseball team picked up another win Saturday, going to the Maz Classic in Cadiz and defeating the Carrollton Warriors 9-5 to push their win streak to 15. Central built a 5-0 lead after three innings, scoring in each frame, before Carrollton got on the board with a two-spot in the bottom of the fourth. Four more Maroon Knight runs in the top of the fifth inning put plenty of distance between the two teams though.
