Smiths Celebrate Golden
Chuck and Sandy Smith celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, April 23.
They were united in marriage on April 23, 1966, at St. Matthew’s Episcopal Church in Wheeling.
Sandy Smith is the daughter of the late Bill and Mary Och from Mozart. She retired after 32 years with the Ohio County Schools and with the West Virginia Department of Education.
Chuck Smith is the son of the late Charles and Letha Smith of Warwood, Wheeling. He retired with 35 years from the Wheeling Police Department and Wheeling Downs.
They are the parents of Mark (Angela) Smith of Inverness, Fla., and Karen Smith of Columbus. They have two grandsons and a great-granddaughter.
