MOUNDSVILLE – A former Moundsville fire chief, fired in late April, has been charged with alleged possession of child sex abuse materials. Those charges, authorities said, came during an investigation into other allegations made against him. NEW CUMBERLAND – In an effort to comply with a new state law, Hancock County officials are seeking to move several of the county's voting precinct locations. County commissioners convened in a special meeting Monday morning, voting 2-0 on the proposal from County Clerk Karan Valenti. “We have some locations that are going to be changing,” explained Commissioner Paul Cowey.
