John and Linda Clark of Moundsville are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary Thursday, Aug. 14.

They were united in marriage Aug. 14, 1964 at Cedar Avenue Church of Christ in Moundsville.

Linda Clark is the daughter of the late Ralph Eller and Bernedene Eller Newcomb of Moundsville. She is a retired teacher with Marshall County Schools.

John Clark is the son of the late John T. Clark and Wilma Ward Clark of Moundsville. He is retired from the Moundsville Fire Department.

They are the parents of three daughters. The family includes Carolin Shutler and her husband, Eugene, of Parkersburg; Christine Naylor and her husband, Lee, of St. Clairsville and Jennifer Cline and her husband, Chad, of Glen Dale. They have eight grandchildren.

A family celebration is planned.
