Jim and Anna Marie Kloss of Wheeling are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary today, Sept. 14.

They were united in marriage Sept. 14, 1974 at St. Jude Catholic Church, Glen Dale, by the late Rev. James Myles.

Anna Marie Kloss is the former Anna Marie Kuca. She is the daughter of the late Frank Kuca Sr. and Anna Kuca. She is a 1972 graduate of Wheeling High School.

Jim Kloss is the son of the late James A. and Norma Kloss. He is also a 1972 graduate of Wheeling High School. He retired from United Parcel Service in 2004, after 30 years of service as a mechanic.

They have two daughters. The family includes Jayme Jo Kloss Rogers and her husband, Jason, of Lexington, Ky., and Jill Kloss Spangler and her husband, Pat, of Moundsville. They have two granddaughters and two grandsons.

They were honored by their family with a celebration dinner and a trip to Naples, Fla.
