Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Knight of Glen Easton celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Thursday, Sept. 4.

They were united in marriage Sept. 4, 1964 at First Christian Church, Moundsville, by the Rev. Laney.

Karen Knight is the daughter of the late Fred and Audrey Dankmer of Moundsville.

Jerry Knight is the son of the late Albert and Freda Knight of Glen Easton.

They are the owners of Knight’s Farm Supply.

They have two daughters. The family includes Melissa Knight and John Fox of Glen Easton and Michelle and Denny Blake of Moundsville. They have a grandson.

An open house in honor of their anniversary is being held at the Limestone Volunteer Fire Department from 4-6 p.m. today, Sept. 7. Their family members are hosts for the event. The couple requests friends’ presence instead of gifts.
