Rollie and Betty Jo Bohrer of New Martinsville celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Thursday, Sept. 18.

They were united in marriage Sept. 18, 1954 at the home of A.M. Gillespie, an evangelist.

Betty Jo Bohrer is the daughter of the late Beryl T. McCollough and Dorothy McCollough. She is retired from Riggenbach Tile and Carpet.

Rollie Bohrer is the son of the late Curtis E. Bohrer and Bessie Bohrer. He is a Marine Corps veteran and is retired from Bayer Corp.

They both love to travel and read and are active in Steelton Church of Christ where he is an elder.

They are the parents of two children. The family includes Michael R. Bohrer and Tina of Sardis and Terri M. Snyder and Andy of Opelika, Ala. They have three granddaughters and a great-granddaughter.

They celebrated their anniversary with family and friends at their home.
