Mr. and Mrs. Frank W. Wheeler of Wheeling will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary Friday, Oct. 17.

They were united in marriage Oct. 17, 1964 at Greggsville United Methodist Church, Wheeling, by the Rev. Dale Mosslander.

Linda S. Wheeler is the daughter of the late Virgil and Francis Campbell. She worked at the former C&P Telephone.

Frank W. Wheeler is the son of Arlene Wheeler and the late Charles W. Wheeler. He is retired from Sysco Food Service.

They are the parents of three children. The family includes Melinda Zoladz and her husband, Dave, of Wheeling; Charles Franklin Wheeler and his wife, Corrine, of Wheeling and Deborah Haley and her husband, Patrick, of St. Clairsville, They have seven grandchildren.

They will celebrate their anniversary by renewing their wedding vows and having an open house at Greggsville United Methodist Church from 4:30-8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18. Their children will serve as hosts for the event. The couple requests the presence of family and friends, but no gifts.
