Dintinis Reach 40 Years
Mr. and Mrs. Edalo Dintini of Weirton celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary Saturday, Feb. 7.
They were united in marriage Feb. 7, 1975 in Follansbee Presbyterian Church by the Rev. John Bates.
Lynn Rogerson Dintini is the daughter of the late Elaine and Estel Hawkins and the late Lee Roy Rogerson. She is retired after 35 years of teaching special education for Steubenville City Schools. She is a former vice president of the Steubenville Education Association and a past secretary of the Weir High Boosters Club.
Edalo Dintini is the son of the late Angelo and Flora Dintini. He is a 32-year retiree from the former Weirton Steel Corp. and a former captain in the Army Reserve. He is a past vice president of the Weir High Boosters Club and a former board member and coach for the Weirton Termite Basketball Association.
They have two children. The family includes Jaime Lynn of Kennesaw, Ga., and Adam and his wife, Shannon, of Alexandria, Va.
As avid West Virginia University fans, they were given a trip to Morgantown for the Norma Mae Huggins Cancer Research Endowment Charity Event and a WVU men’s basketball game.
