Couple Marks 60 Years
Paul E. and Arlene L. Florjanczyk of Wheeling will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on Thursday, April 23.
They were united in marriage April 23, 1955 at St. Paul’s United Church of Christ, Wheeling, with the Rev. Ernest Noll officiating.
Arlene Florjanczyk is the daughter of the late Earla and Charles Menz of Wheeling. She is a graduate of Ohio Valley General Hospital School of Nursing as a registered nurse, a graduate of West Liberty State College with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree and a graduate of West Virginia University with a master’s degree in community health science. She is retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Corp.’s Beech Bottom plant.
Paul Florjanczyk is the son of the late Frank and Frances Florjanczyk of Wheeling. He served in the U.S. Army and is retired from American Electric Power.
They are the parents of two children. The family includes Charles and his wife, Leslie, of Wheeling and Barbara Renzella and her husband, Nick, of Glen Dale.
They have two grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A family gathering will be held to celebrate.
