James and Mary Lou Hardman of Wheeling celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Friday, April 10.

They were united in marriage on Easter Sunday, April 10, 1955, at the parsonage of Fulton United Church, Wheeling, with the late Rev. Gay Feathers officiating.

James Hardman is retired from the Kroger Co. He is also a retired minister of music with the Church of God in Anderson, Ind., where they have worshipped for more than 40 years.

They are the parents of four children. The family includes James W. and his wife, Terri, of Wheeling; Rebecca of Wheeling; Donald and his wife, Tara, of Wheeling; and Russell of Wheeling.

They celebrated with their children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and extended family at a dinner party on Saturday, April 11.
