Polsinellis Hit 40 Years

Tony and Janice Polsinelli of McMechen celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary Sunday, April 12.

They were united in marriage April 12, 1975 at St. John Catholic Church in Benwood, with the Rev. Michael O’Reilly officiating.

Janice Polsinelli is the daughter of the late Louis and Anna Alexander Ponsetti of St. Joe. She is a homemaker and is involved in many organizations in her church, including helping with the Rite of ChristianInitiation of Adults, Rosary Altar Society and Parish Council.

Tony Polsinelli is the son of the late Eginesio and Annunziata Giovannone Polsinelli of Arpino, Italy. He emigrated to the U.S. on May 28, 1968 at the age of 16. He is a former co-owner of Saturn Bronze and is employed at Knight’s Distributing. He is also involved with many organizations in his church, including the RCIA and Parish Council; a member of the Sons of Italy, assists with the Italian Festival, and enjoys making homemade wine.

They have two children. The family includes Geno and his wife, Amy of Benwood and Greg of Cincinnati. They have one granddaughter.

A family dinner was held in their honor on their anniversary.
