Diane and Walt Cybulski Jr. of Bridgeport celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Friday, June 12.

They were united in marriage on June 12, 1965 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Wolfhurst, with Msgr. Patrick Mayer officiating.

Walt Cybulski is the son of the late Magdalene and Walter Cybulski Sr. He is retired from his business, Cybulski Construction, and from Wheeling Jesuit University physical plant as a carpenter.

Diane Cybulski is the daughter of the late Cyril and Jean Givens of Bridgeport. She worked in retail and banking, and was employed at Stone & Thomas in St. Clairsville as assistant store manager/human resource director, at Fed One Bank and at United Bank, from where she retired.

They are the parents of three children: Lisa (Don) Stillwell of Lansing; Stephanie (Randall) Byrd of Pleasant Unity, Pa.; and Walter III of Silver Springs, Md. They have five grandchildren.

They celebrated the occasion with a backyard firewood-roasted barbecue with family and special friends.
