Dan and Donna Dunn of Cameron celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, June 20.

They were united in marriage at the First Brethren Church in Cameron on June 20, 1965.

Dan Dunn is the son of the late Raymond and Marie Dunn. Donna Dunn is the daughter of the late Encil and Dorothy Wade.

They were high school sweethearts at Cameron High School, from where they both graduated. Dan Dunn graduated from DeVry Institute. He then joined the U.S. Air Force, retiring as chief master sergeant after 30 years of service.

Donna Dunn was a stay-at-home mom to the couple’s two sons. The family includes Daniel and his wife, Jennifer, of Colorado and Dwayne and his wife, Christa, of Michigan. Two granddaughters complete the family.

The couple will celebrate with a trip at a later date.
