John and Beth Zinn of Glen Dale celebrated their 45th anniversary Saturday, June 27.

They were united in marriage on June 27, 1970 at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling.

John Zinn is the son of the late John L. Zinn and Ann Harvath. Beth Zinn is the daughter of the late Charles and Elizabeth Naegele and the late Bernard Kaib.

John Zinn graduated from Wheeling High School. He is retired from Marshall County Schools, where he was employed as a school bus driver. He is a Glen Dale councilman.

Beth Zinn graduated from Wheeling Central Catholic High School. She is employed by Wheeling Hospital as a radiologic transcriptionist.

They are the parents of two children. The family includes Dedra (Thomas) Faulstick of Wheeling and Sean (Jennifer) Zinn of Springfield, Va. They have six grandchidren.

A trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., is planned.
