Jack and Rose Timko of Barton are celebrating their 60th wedding anniversary.

They were united in marriage on July 23, 1955 at St. Stanislaus Catholic Church in Maynard.

Rose Timko is the daughter of the late John and Mary Matis.

Jack Timko is the son of the late Andy and Jennie Timko. He retired in 1990 from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Beech Bottom shipping office.

They are the parents of Jack and his wife, Anita, of Martins Ferry; Karen and her husband, Dave Conaway, of Bridgeport; and Sharon and her husband, Bob Robson, of New Concord, Ohio. They also have five grandchildren, one great-grandchild and two step-great-grandchildren.

A Mass and family dinner will be hosted in their honor by their children.
