Couple Celebrates 50th
George and Lana Strauss of Wheeling are celebrating their 50th anniversary.
They were united in marriage on Aug. 14, 1965 at St. Michael Catholic Church in Wheeling.
Lana Strauss is the daughter of the late Harry and Betty Dutton. She is retired from Orchard Park Day Care.
George Strauss is the son of the late George and Mary Strauss. He retired from the Wheeling water department.
They are the parents of George Strauss, who lives with his wife, Hollie, in Groveport, Ohio; and Tammi Leonard, who lives with her husband, Shawn, in Canal Winchester.
They have three grandchildren.
