Les and Linda Morgan of Wheeling are celebrating their 50th wedding annivesary.

They were united in marriage on Aug. 28, 1965, at St. Michael Catholic Church, Wheeling, by the late Rev. Leo Morgan, O.F.M. Cap.

Linda Morgan is the daughter of the late Charles and Lucy Monfradi. She is retired from the former Linda’s Cake Decorating and from Wheeling Hospital as a surgical technician. She is employed part-time at Altmeyer Funeral Home.

Leo Morgan is the son of the late Lyle and Mary Morgan. He worked at Kelly’s Home Furnishings, Linda’s Cake Decorating and Friesmuth Printing Co. (now Vance Printing), from where he retired.

They are the parents of Michelle (Kent) Lindsay of Pittsburgh; Patrick (Margot) Morgan of West Palm Beach, Fla. and Stephen (Missy) Morgan of Wheeling. They have five grandchildren

They marked the occasion with a family celebration.
